The School Nutrition Association of Arizona is a State affiliate of the School Nutrition Association (SNA), a national professional organization for school food service professionals.  SNA, formerly known as the American School Food Service Association (ASFSA), has been advancing the availability, quality and acceptance of school nutrition programs as an integral part of education since 1946.

As the "Voice of Child Nutrition," SNA strives to provide a variety benefits that will suit your professional needs. Some of the most important benefits include professional credibility, legislative power and continuing education opportunities.

• Foodservice/Nutrition Employee
  Includes cooks, bakers, bookkeepers, technicians, assistants, etc.

• Foodservice/Nutrition Manager  - Includes managers, head cooks, assistant managers

• Child Care Employee
  Includes Child and Adult Care Food Program employees (CACFP); child/day/family/home care center providers

• Child Care Manager
  Includes CACFP supervisory staff employees

• Student
  Includes full-time students enrolled in college/university foodservice, nutrition or dietary program

• Retired
  Includes retired school foodservice professionals

• Foodservice Nutrition Directors, Supervisors, Specialists
  Includes professionals working in the foodservice program at the school district level

• Foodservice Nutrition Directors, Supervisors, Specialists (Major City)
  Includes professionals working in the foodservice program where the school district enrollment is 40,000 or more or city population is 200,000 or more

• State Agency Directors, Supervisors, Specialists
  Includes professionals working in state office for child nutrition programs including nutrition education

• Child Care Director
  Includes CACFP Sponsors

• Foodservice/Nutrition Educator
  Includes faculty or foodservice directors working in a college/university setting

• Other
  Includes principals, superintendents, teachers and other members of the school community

• International
  Individuals residing outside of the United States who provide meals to students are eligible for associate, non-voting membership.

If you or your organization provide products and/or services to school foodservice professionals and child nutrition programs, you are eligible for Industry Membership in SNA, as well as SNAAZ.
